BOI is a continuous exploration of the art of knitting with sustainability as its core value.

HOW WE DO IT

  • Material Choice

    We work with high-quality Italian yarns such as: GOTS certified cotton, RWS certified wool, recycled viscose, recycled polyester and hemp. For some our products we use dead stock leftover yarns that we get from other companies.

  • Local Production

    All our products are limited series produced in our studio in Berlin. They are knitted directly into form to avoid fabric cut & sew and keep production waste to less than 1%.

  • Upcycling

    The material waste that remains from production or the prototyping phase is collected and used as filling materials in our seat cushions.
